Bingo card generator

Make printable bingo cards in three formats: classic 75-ball cards, 90-ball tickets, or word bingo with your own list. Every card in a set is different, and you print them yourself from this page with no account and no download. To run the game, open the bingo caller on a phone or a TV.

Custom word bingo

Type your own words for a classroom vocabulary game, a baby shower, a meeting or a long drive. The box starts with a road trip list you can use as it is. You need at least 24 different words; with more, each card gets a different mix.

This is what prints: the word bingo cards, sized for US Letter. Use your browser's Print (Ctrl+P, Cmd+P on a Mac, or Share then Print on a phone).Another sheet on this page is set to print.

    How to play bingo

    75-ball bingo

    1. Each player gets a card. The middle square is free and counts as already marked.
    2. The caller draws numbers at random and calls them with their letter: "B 7", "N 42". Numbers under B are 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60 and O 61 to 75.
    3. Players mark any called number on their card.
    4. The first player to complete the agreed pattern shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card against the called numbers.

Patterns: a line (any row, column or diagonal) for a quick game, four corners, or blackout (every square) for the last game of the night. Agree the pattern before the first call.

    90-ball bingo

Each ticket has 15 numbers from 1 to 90 in 3 rows of 5. Numbers are called without letters. Play usually goes in three stages on the same tickets: the first to complete one row wins, then two rows, then all 15 numbers (a full house).

    Tips for printing and playing

    • Card stock lasts for several games; plain paper is fine for one.
    • Mark with crayons, markers or bingo dabbers. With toddlers in the room, skip coins, beans and small counters: coins and small balls are on the American Academy of Pediatrics list of choking hazards.
    • For a big group, write each card's number down as you hand it out, so a "Bingo!" can be checked quickly by card number in the caller.

    What this page adds

Most bingo card makers ask you to sign up before you can print, or hand you a PDF of the same few cards. Here you choose the format, the number of cards (up to 100) and the size, every card in the set is different, and the caller on the same device can check a winning card by its number. Word bingo takes any list, so the same tool works for a lesson, a shower or a car trip.

Ready-made word bingo for occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and bridal shower gift bingo.

    Bingo card questions

Are the bingo cards really all different?

Yes. Every set is checked as it is made and any repeat is thrown away and redrawn, so no two cards in a set match. There are 111,007,923,832,370,565 possible 75-ball cards, so repeats are rare anyway.

What is the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball bingo?

75-ball is the usual American game: a 5 by 5 card under the letters B, I, N, G, O with a free middle square, played for lines and patterns. 90-ball is the usual British game: tickets of 3 rows and 9 columns with 15 numbers, played for one line, two lines and a full house.

How do I make bingo cards with my own words?

Use the custom word bingo section: type at least 24 words or phrases, give the card a title, choose how many cards and print. Every card gets 24 of your words in a different order around a free middle square.

How many bingo cards do I need?

One per player, plus a few spares. Give a young child one card; older players and grown-ups can manage two or three at once once they know the game.

Can I print bingo cards on a phone?

Yes. Make the cards, then use your phone's Share menu and choose Print, or save as a PDF. Each section says which sheet will print.
